“Does Zero Seconds Mean Right Now?”

Zero:Seconds was started in 2022 by Brian Tande. However, the idea began with his son, Rilan, in 2014. At the time, Rilan was only five years old and simply wanted to get his father’s attention. On a normal weekday, in the middle of a conversation, Rilan asked his dad a life-changing question: “Daddy, does zero seconds mean right now?”

That question opened Brian’s eyes to all the times he had dismissed his children with familiar phrases like, “In a minute,” and, “Maybe later.” He realized he had missed countless opportunities where he could have been building relationships with his kids.

Now, Zero:Seconds exists to help as many dads as possible build real relationships with their kids. Through the Zero:Seconds App, dads have access to a community of dads who are all on the same journey together. Dads are given helpful content, game-changing ideas, accountability, and engaging challenges, all in the spirit of helping good dads become even better.

Ever since that moment, Brian has been sharing the ‘zero seconds’ story with as many dads as possible. The results have been mind-blowing.

Dads who were once at a loss as to how to build real relationships with their kids gained a rally-cry. Dads who were once confused and unsure of how to begin connecting with their kids in an intentional way were given a place–and more importantly–a time to start: right now.

If you want to become a better dad, there is no better time than right now.
